All applications must include:

- Three Work Samples
Submit scores/recordings of up to 3 works for consideration (any combination of soprano voice, piano solo or piano four-hands, bassoon, violin and cello). If you want to write a new work (1-3 players, instrumentation assigned by the festival), you can include 3 works that best represent your compositional interests in your application. MIDI is acceptable. Recordings and realizations of electroacoustic music or experimental works that do not use traditional scores can be submitted. Works can include electronics; the composer is expected to run their own electronics and communicate with our tech staff to make sure we have the necessary equipment.

September Retreat Fees:
Application fee: $51.75 (via PayPal)
Music Program Fees (includes food): $1,200
Partner Costs: $250 food surcharge for each adult companion
Family Costs: $50 food and lodging surcharge per child aged 11+.
Housing:
$75/night for a private bedroom/shared bathroom in the Lodge (limited availability).
$50/night for a shared rustic bunkbed cabin with an en suite bathroom.
There is no financial aid for the September Retreat
PAYMENT information:
Accepted participants must send a $500 deposit by May 1 to reserve a space ($517.50 via PayPal). Below is the PayPal/Credit Card link to pay either the deposit, or the program fee in full. You can also pay your $517.50 deposit by PayPal using the email address of mail@newmusiconthepoint.com.

After your deposit has been made and your lodging choices have been received, you will receive an emailed invoice for the Balance of Fees which is due in full no later than July 1. Deposits are not refundable after June 1, except in cases of documented medical emergencies.
