THE PCP Kitchen

Chef Steve, a native Vermonter, has been with NMOP from the start. He claims he could survive in the woods as long as he has his rifle, bow and arrow, fishing rod and a knife.  Chef Steve hunts, fishes, forages, and with his kitchen staff provides three delectable meals daily. We use many locally sourced food products and we make everything but the bread from scratch. 

NMOP is known for its delicious and nutritious, and often unusual meals!  

Melissa is our faithful breakfast and lunch cook.  She loves getting to know everyone and is a friendly face first thing in the morning!  Whatever you need, Melissa is happy to find it for you.

Our kitchen staff provides vegetarian options at every meal. We do our best to accommodate all food allergies, but please warn us before you arrive!

Oh and by the way, we serve local Vermont milk and the best chocolate milk in the world. Yes. Really.

Sample Menus

Breakfast:  Real scrambled eggs and Vermont cured bacon, Pancakes with REAL Vermont grade B (because it has the most flavor) maple syrup, our legendary French Toast Casserole* and  Baked Oatmeal*

Lunch: All of our soups are homemade, ranging from Vermont Cheddar and Ale Soup, Ginger Carrot Soup, to Chef's favorite New England Fish Chowder or maybe Mussels with a Cream Dijonnaise.  Sandwiches are Vermont style Banh Mi, Cubans, Croissant Pear, Reubens, and Beet and Goat Cheese.

Dinner: Thai Noodles*, Asian style Chicken

Chef Steve is also known to sugar cure Alaskan salmon, smoke local fish, and infuse the salt with some herbs.  He loves to share his passion for food, so feel welcome to drop by the kitchen.  Knowing Chef, he'll encourage you to taste something on the stove!
