Who We Are
Jenny Beck, Executive Director
Jenny Beck started as the Executive Director of PCP in 2008. She will be one of the first people to greet you on opening day. And watch out. She always wants a hug – from both returning AND new campers. That is just the way she is.
Jenny has been passionate about camp, music and kids since she was one herself. Although she claims she is not a musician, Jenny met her husband, Steve, on the piano bench as accompanists to their junior high school jazz band.
Most summer days, you will find Jenny in her office, The Coop, or in the kitchen. She likes to know everybody and always wants to know what is going on, and somehow, she does! Jenny loves to sing. It won’t take you long to learn her favorites. And when Amadeus, PCP’s resident owl, swoops in at a campfire, please make sure she is aware of the owl’s presence; she probably will get tears in her eyes. It happens.

Kerrith Livengood, Assistant Executive Director
Kerrith Livengood is a composer and music educator, who for many years has been a staff member for New Music On The Point. Kerrith is excited to join PCP’s staff as the new assistant executive director! Her music features controlled randomness, lyricism, noise, and humor. She is also a flutist, drummer, technologist, and improviser, who performs collaborative and experimental works created by herself and others. She received her doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, and previously taught theory and composition at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).
Cabin Counselors
Our Cabin Counselors are the first friendly faces campers encounter upon arrival, and with whom special bonds are formed that often last a lifetime. Non-music activities at camp are led by Cabin Counselors who are college students whom share a passion for music with the campers. Many of our counselors are music majors hailing from institutions such as Peabody Conservatoire and the Eastman School of Music. Our counselors are from diverse backgrounds and come from all over the world ranging from London to Germany to Korea. Counselors spend a week of staff training focusing on safety, nurturing, homesickness, fun, leading games and hikes, team-building , campfires, PCP traditions and other skills that help to make the summer successful for each camper.

Music Faculty
Each two-week session has its’ own inspiring and nurturing music faculty group to help the campers develop their love and technical growth of music. You can find out more about them by clicking here.
