POINT COUNTERPOINT

Activities

Water Activities
With 450 feet of lake frontage, Lake Dunmore beckons. We offer canoeing, kayaking, and swimming on our lake. Certified lifeguards supervise all swim periods; strong swimmers often join the sunrise swim across the lake! And the water isn’t cold, really.

N’Arts and Crafts
Creative expression is definitely encouraged at Point CounterPoint.. The NArt (Nature + Art) Barn is a good place to let your creativity loose to make giant monsters out of cardboard, a white ash painting, gnome homes, interpretive art or something you decide to create from nature.

Nature Nurture
Surrounded by nature on the shores of Lake Dunmore and at the foot of the Green Mountains, Point CounterPoint is the perfect setting to explore nature and to nurture a greater appreciation for the natural world that surrounds our camp. Hiking the falls around the lake, picking fresh blueberries and baking pies to share for dessert, canoeing on the lake with the loons brings the wonders of the natural world close. Campers start to understand their responsibilities for our physical world. Nature at our doorstep enhances the musicality of the camp.

Sports
Favorite sports at camp include knock-out basketball, ping-pong, ultimate frisbee, newcomb, soccer, badminton, pick-up games and tournaments. Early morning runs/jogs and lake swims are offered.

Drama
Campers have numerous opportunities to be dramatic and are called in to action for campfires, evening improv games and cabin inspection. These imaginative skits are real camp traditions and provide laughter and memories.
